If there's one product that defines what NAE stands for, it's the EPS1300 Engine Protection System - our flagship product, and for good reason.
Engine failure rarely happens without warning.
The problem is that the warning signs - a small drop in oil pressure, a slight rise in coolant temperature - are often invisible to an operator until it's too late and a catastrophic failure has already occurred. The EPS1300 exists to catch those signs early, before they become expensive repairs or unplanned downtime.

What it manages:
The EPS1300 monitors and manages 11 possible critical conditions essential to optimal engine performance, covering engine health, transmission functionality, electrical integrity, and fully customisable, user-defined specifications.
What it monitors:
- Oil pressure - mapped to RPM
- Cylinder head temperature
- Low coolant level
- Fan belt slipping
- Transmission temperature
- Hydraulic oil temperature
- Battery voltage (low/high)
- Engine RPM (over-rev)
- Engine hours and service interval

Equipped with a sophisticated array of precision sensors, the EPS continuously gathers and analyses vital metrics such as oil pressure, coolant temperature, fluid levels, electrical voltages, and operational speeds. This gives operators and maintenance teams real-time diagnostics and maintenance insight, not just an after-the-fact fault code.
Crucially, the EPS1300 doesn't just warn - it acts. The system follows a clear protection cycle: engine running normal -> fault detected -> engine stopped -> investigate and repair -> EPS unlock -> test -> back to normal. That means a genuine fault triggers a safe shutdown procedure, protecting both the equipment and the people operating it.
Built for the field, not the lab:
- Robust and waterproof
- Vibration proof
- Pass protected, so only authorised personnel can unlock a shutdown
- Early warnings, giving your maintenance team a head start
By catching issues early - before they cascade into major failures - the EPS1300 protects the longevity and efficiency of your engines while supporting safer, more predictable operations across mining, construction, agricultural, and stationary engine applications.

Curious whether EPS1300 or the simpler EPS100 is right for your fleet? NAE's team can help you choose and install the right fit.
